Sub-Committee on the Environment
This committee plans to focus on issues surrounding Air Quality, our Wetlands (in and surrounding the 51st AD), and also look at the Environmental Impact of projects coming into the 51st AD and what their effect will be.

Sub- Committee on Health
This committee plans to review current legislation regarding health. Review senior nursing facilities and Long term care facilities in and surrounding AD 51. And also look into, advocate for, raise greater awareness and educate people about certain illness/disease’s (i.e. Lupus) that are prevalent in our community.

Sub-Committee on Public Safety
This committee plans to explore, educate the community and take action on Gang issues, Graffiti, Crime and overall public safety in the 51st AD.

Sub-Committee on Transportation
This committee plans to look in to and address Public Transportation, Traffic and Airport (LAX expansion) Issues in the 51st AD.


 

5. Sub-Committee on Youth and Education
This committee plans to expand their outreach to other school districts, teachers unions and stakeholders in the 51st District. Develop an efficient, effective and powerful communications network regarding education and youth in the 51st District. And to encourage investment and usage of technology in all educational institutions in the 51st District.

Sub-Committee on Special Events
This committee plans to help and assist the district office to plan and set up special events i.e. future Town Halls, multicultural fairs and holiday events.

Sub-Committee on Seniors Services
This committee plans to look into senior care, housing and services that are available and that are needed in and around the 51st Assembly District.

Sub-Committee on Technology
This committee plans to look into emerging technology and its current and future benefits to the residents of the 51st AD.
